Social gatherings are a wonderful part of our lives together. In addition to fellowship during Sunday worship, we welcome the congregation to join in adult as well as family centered events.
Adults enjoy events such as the Progressive Dinner, Beef and Lobster Night, Cross-Country Skiing, the Chili Cookoff and evenings at Ravinia. Family events include the annual Pool Splash Party, Ice Skating Party, Church Picnic, Mardi Gras Celebration, and Holiday Tree Cutting Party.
Women of the church also enjoy the opportunity for fellowship and united service through W.E.L.C.A. The women enjoy events such as jewelry making nights, the Spring Tea and out-of-town retreats.
The men’s group, Men of Spirit Together (M.O.S.T.) offers mutual support and fellowship through a variety of recreational activities throughout the year. Past events include rock climbing, guest speakers, gourmet dinners and walleyball and badminton nights.
Our after-school youth fellowship program, Tuesday L.Y.F.E., provides additional time for 2nd though 6th graders to develop friendships in a fun, relaxed setting. Jr. High and High School events include social activities, retreats and service projects such as Teen Habitat-for-Humanity experiences.
