The Holy Spirit Chapter of WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) is an organization dedicated to fostering: Faith by gathering in Christ’s name to serve and support our congregation and the community both local and worldwide Fellowship by sponsoring social events for women of the church Through fundraising efforts, we contribute to many benevolences including Holy Family School, Lutheran Day nursery, Lutheran Social Services, Lake County PADS, Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Center, Lutheran World Relief, Women of the ELCA and others. All women of the congregation are invited to participate in the special events throughout the year. All confirmed women of the church are welcome to join the planning meetings, which are held in the church narthex, once a month on the first Wednesday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. with refreshments. Business meeting begins promptly at 9:15 and lasts until approximately 10:30 a.m. Nursery care is provided.
