Adult Spiritual Growth
There are a variety of groups at Holy Spirit tailored to a range of special interests and demographics.
Fellowship
Christians United For Fellowship
Social gatherings are a wonderful part of our lives together. In addition to fellowship during Sunday worship, we welcome the congregation to join in adult as well as family-centered events.
Adults enjoy events such as Trivia Night, Wine & Cheese Pairing, Oktoberfest, St. Patrick's Day Celebration and Holy Spirit Night Out at local restaurants and taverns.

Prayer Group

Each Thursday morning from 9:30 am to 10:00 am we gather in the prayer to lift up members of our community in need of God’s presence, direction, and healing.

We use this time to deepen our own prayer practices and explore a variety of different styles and formats. We also pray for petitions submitted by members of the congregation, as well as members who are celebrating birthdays.
Thursday Bible Study 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.
Every Thursday morning from 10:15 to 11:30 our weekday Bible Study meets, and everyone is encouraged to attend our spirited conversations. Besides delving into the Holy Scriptures, we also study contemporary theologians, our Lutheran roots, and current issues as they impact our lives.

During the month of March, we’ll begin a new unit studying the book “The Imitation of Christ” by Thomas Kempis. This work focuses on the importance of embodying the teachings of Jesus Christ, emphasizing humility, inner reflection, and a life of devotion to God over worldly concerns.
It offers profound guidance in developing a personal relationship with Christ, fostering moral integrity, and achieving spiritual enlightenment. Join us as we develop a deeper understanding of our spiritual journey in light of Christ’s example. We always close our time together in prayer.
