ANGEL TREE —

One of the most rewarding Christmas activities around Holy Spirit is the sharing of gifts with  children in need. Each year, we receive the names of children from Lutheran Day Nursery/After School Program for whom we purchase gifts at Christmas. These children have come to be called our “angels”.

If you have any questions, please contact Kari Davenport, karikdavenport@yahoo.com or 773-844-7542.

Sign Up: We are asking people to sign up for a child/children. If you are unable to sign up online, you may contact Kari Davenport and she will assign you a child.

Drop Off: Wrapped gifts are due to the church by Sunday, December 15th.You can drop off during office hours or on Sundays during services. If you need help wrapping your gifts, please contact Kari.

Appropriate Items: We strive to provide each child with an age-appropriate toy, an article of warm clothing (like a shirt, pants, sweatsuit etc.) and a new or gently used book. However, if there is ever a time to spoil a child, this is one of those times that it’s okay.

Labeling Gifts: Please be sure to properly label all your gifts with the child’s name when you return them so that they are delivered to the right child.

Sometimes giving back is as simple as grabbing a coffee, or ordering some lunch.
At Curt's Cafe that lunch provides so much more than a meal, it can change the direction of a young person's life and have a positive lasting impact on their future.
